Indian Sandstone Patios
Natural stone in a range of colours, laid on a full mortar bed and pointed properly.
Indian sandstone, porcelain and block paving laid on a proper sub base so it stays level, drains well and looks right for years.
A patio that dips, rocks or floods is a base problem, not a paving problem. F&F excavate to the right depth, lay and compact a hardcore sub base, then bed every slab on a full mortar bed with falls set for drainage. It takes longer and it is the reason our patios last.
We lay Indian sandstone, porcelain, block paving and slate for patios, paths, steps and small driveways across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan, and finish with pointing that suits the stone.
Patios are often part of a wider garden project with new fencing, turf or artificial grass and raised beds. We can plan and build it all together.

Genuine feedback from F&F customers across Cardiff and South Wales.
The team at F&F completely transformed our garden with new turf laid, fencing and patio laid. From quotation to project completion the communication and standard of work was brilliant. James and team came highly recommended and it is clear to see why.
Highly recommend F&F for any fencing and landscaping work. From the initial quote to starting work and completion, communication was excellent and the work completed to a high standard.
F&F Property Services landscaped my mother's garden to make it more accessible and replaced the old fencing. The garden has been completely transformed and the finish is better than we expected. F&F were recommended to me by a friend and it is clear to see why.
The price depends on the size of the patio, the paving you choose and how much groundwork is needed. Porcelain costs more than sandstone, and sloped gardens need more preparation. We visit and provide a free written quotation with everything itemised.
A typical patio of 20 to 30 square metres takes three to five days including excavation, base and pointing. We give a clear timeline in the quotation.
Indian sandstone gives a warm natural look at a sensible price. Porcelain is harder wearing and easier to keep clean. We bring samples to the quotation visit so you can compare them in your garden.
